...and quite possibly one of the better ones to have, unless you ask my husband. It is sewing up knits. I can say that I just had a huge fever for the longest time of sewing knits. I've sewn cottons forever but my machine would rather die than sew a knit. When St Nick brought me a serger, it was time to conquer my fear. And BOY, have I conquered it. I've also set some goals for myself to not just sew for business but more for pleasure.
My littlest lady just adores blue so I couldn't help but utilize the navy and hot pink color scheme. And hey, my other love of embroidery was telling me to put a nice big old monogram on the chest. I'm wishing this pattern came in my size so I could make some sweet tunics. Guess I should just take an women's tee pattern and go to work. But I've already got something on the books tonight for myself: The Ruby Dress by Made By Rae. Pictures to come, probably tomorrow since it's snowing, icing, and sleeting here in Cincinnati so I've got time on my hands.
Though I spend my days doing applique and embroidery, I am trying to find the time to dabble in some of my other passions.
