A couple weeks ago I sewed up a Ruby Dress by Made by Rae. I had previously taken a few token selfies but you just can't really appreciate the fit of the dress when you take a photo of yourself in a mirror. Thank goodness for having a friend that works for custom clothes. She snapped a few of me in the dress. I can share them because they don't make me look fat. I've got a few others that don't looks so cute. Not the photographers problem but more my bat wings being the issues :)
First of all, again, I LOVE this pattern. It is so comfortable and versatile. I just wore it the other day with leggings and a long sleeve white shirt underneath. I've already made one in a tunic length.
SO...head out and do some self-sewing. You're worth it. Find a pattern you like and make a few of the same style if you are like me. I'm that lady that buys a shirt in every color when I find something that fits.
Though I spend my days doing applique and embroidery, I am trying to find the time to dabble in some of my other passions.
